Curtiss-Wright Corporation Stress Analyst in Cheswick, Pennsylvania
We are looking for a Stress Analyst to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location.
Your Responsibilities:
As a member of our Mechanical Design Engineering team, you will perform preliminary and detailed level analysis critical to the overall success of our products.

Your Challenge:
Analysis of pressure vessels, bolted joints, fasteners, and other structural components in the EMD product lines
ASME Code analysis and analysis to other pressure vessel and engineering codes
Fracture mechanics analysis, fatigue analysis, and other advanced mechanical analysis of commercial and government nuclear grade equipment as well as commercial process equipment
What you Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis.
Proficiency with hand calculations for stress analysis and machine design.
Experience with ASME Code analysis and analysis to other structural codes.
Experience with ANSYS APDL.
Must be a sole US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
Thermal stress analysis experience is considered a benefit as well as commercial nuclear industry design and analysis experience.
Licensed Professional Engineer is preferred.
