Quality Assurance Specialist *SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE*

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for assisting Quality Engineering and the Quality Assurance Manager with various tasks including reviewing and approving job routers/work instructions, generating Certificate of Conformances, and performing other functions necessary to maintain the quality assurance program.

Location : Middleburg Heights, OH (greater Cleveland area)

Your Challenge:

  • Support the Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance Manager.

  • Disposition of Non-Conformances.

  • Disposition of Corrective Actions.

  • Maintenance of Quality Assurance Records.

  • Management of Measurement and Test Equipment.

  • Assistance in any other tasks required by the Quality Assurance Engineer.

  • Review and approve Job Routers/Work Instructions.

  • Generate Certificate of Conformances.

  • Perform other functions necessary to maintain and improve the quality assurance program.

What you bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 2-3 years related experience.

  • Knowledge and experience in the Quality field.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.

  • Proficiency in using measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, comparators, etc.

  • Ability to review and approve job routers/work instructions accurately.

  • Experience in generating Certificate of Conformances.

  • Familiarity with ASTM/ASME Material specifications (stainless and carbon steels).

  • Proficient with software and computer applications (e.g., Microsoft applications, Outlook).

  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work and foster a team environment.

  • Experience in the commercial nuclear power market with fastener knowledge is preferred.

  • Technical training in materials is preferred.

  • Commitment to maintaining and enhancing the quality assurance program.
