Manufacturing & Test Engineer

We are looking for a Manufacturing & Test Engineer to join our team in Newtown, PA!

As a Manufacturing & Testing Engineer within our operations team, your day will be varied and your passion for continue improvement will be fully utilized. You will be called upon to shepherd the process workflow for one of TTC’s industry leading telemetry and RF products.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge in a variety of tasks relating to the manufacturing of the products. You will assist with various routine analyses, design and/or cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment as well as assisting with development, implementation and methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or testing of sub-assemblies and final assemblies.

Your Challenge:

  • Establishes Manufacturing process flow and testing and work instruction. Create and update manufacturing standard procedure, which defines specific manufacturing processes and test processes for subassemblies and final assemblies.

  • May perform routine operational or methods analyses related to labor standards and reviews product/project flow data, equipment, and labor requirements for use in conducting manufacturing operations, increasing productivity, electronic testing and reducing production unit cost.

  • Assist in the evaluation of engineering changes and/or other specifications requirements and performs as technical liaison with other engineering personnel such as program management, finance, design, quality, procurement, inspection, and production.

  • Estimates manufacturing costs, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling, process, or test requirements of new or existing product lines.

  • Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations, test, and device trouble shooting.

  • May interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products and conduct review of engineering drawings and test plans prior to release.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline plus 1 year of relevant experience OR Associate’s plus 5 years’ experience as manufacturing engineer

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office.

  • Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of electronic and mechanical assembly principles.

  • Demonstrated professional experience with 1 or more of the following: test software, database management, continuous improvement activities.

  • Experience with mathematical concepts (probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry) and apply concepts to practical situations.

  • Due to the nature of the work, must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
