Sr. Manager, Financial Reporting

We are looking for a Sr. Manager to join our Corporate team!

As our Sr. Manager you will, manage and oversee compliance efforts with the preparation, review, submission, and distribution of financial reports required by governmental and regulatory agencies. You will also be responsible for the monthly and quarterly close processes as they pertain to reporting and revenue recognition.

Your Challenge

  • Prepare and coordinate the preparation and review of SEC filings, including 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and relevant SEC regulations.

  • Coordinate with external auditors for all SEC filings, as well as interim/year end auditing procedures.

  • Prepare and coordinate financial information contained in quarterly earnings and press releases, including coordination with the Investor Relations group.

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple business unit analytical reviews on a quarterly basis, working with both the group level and local management.

  • Perform technical accounting research and conclude on complex accounting issues through discussions with management and preparation of technical accounting memoranda.

  • Perform XBRL tagging, as required, on applicable SEC filings.

  • Maintain and update the Company's accounting policies to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, SEC, and PCAOB regulations.

  • Prepare and provide input on Audit Committee presentations and ad hoc requests as requested by senior management.

  • Assist with mergers and acquisitions by performing due diligence on potential acquisitions and integration of acquired companies. Evaluate newly acquired companies on a quarterly basis to ensure proper accounting and external reporting.

  • Perform the Corporation's annual goodwill impairment evaluation.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required.

  • CPA qualification preferred

  • 7+ years Big 4 public accounting experience, or a combination of public and private experience in a financial reporting / technical role.

  • Extensive knowledge in GAAP and SEC regulations.

  • Strong understanding of accounting systems and controls

  • Excellent communication (both written and oral) and analytical skills

  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
