The Opportunity | Production Control -- Tooling Coordinator
Under minimal supervision, plans and coordinates manufacturing job prerequisites focused on tools and fixturing. Working to support Manufacturing leadership, manages tools, fixtures, and gages as manufacturing prerequisites to ensure seamless execution of work in manufacturing (Machining, Assembly, Welding and Inspection)
Your Challenge :
Monitor high use tooling to ensure min/max quantities are maintained.
Responsible for tooling inventory and accountability
Issue, receive, and store tools in storage area.
Operate material handling equipment like pallet jacks, powered industrial forklifts, cranes, etc.
Deliver and return tools, fixtures, and gages to tool storage location(s)
Disassemble, clean, refurbish, assemble tools for manufacturing.
Disassemble, clean, refurbish fixtures for manufacturing.
Observe all safety, environmental and hygiene requirements.
Keep work areas clean and neat.
Order tooling, to include specialty tooling for precision applications.
Your Expertise:
High School graduate
Knowledge of tooling in reference to CNC applications
Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing / machining environment
Self-starter, highly motivated, action-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and results-driven
Excellent communication skills with knowledge of MS Office.
Must be a sole US citizen and able to obtain and ability to secure a DOD security clearance.
