Curtiss-Wright is looking for an experienced Project Scheduler to join our Steam & Air Solutions (SAS) team. Working with some support and direction from the Project Manager (PM), you will be challenged to perform the necessary activities to support your assigned projects, which include but are not limited to: project set-up activities in Oracle as required with some direction from the PM on inputs; assisting PMs with development of a Project Work Plan; supporting the development and review of schedules, perform analysis of schedules and budgets to identify potential risks and opportunities with limited direction from PM on inputs.

Your Challenge:

As a Project Scheduler, you will plan, schedule and coordinate materials for your projects. Coordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedule. Additional activities can also be assigned by the Project Manager as necessary, including a leadership role with the Project Team when required by the PM.

  • Perform Project Set-up Activities, maintain project information, assist with readiness reviews, and create and update recovery plan schedules and cost estimates as required by the PM for the assigned production, design, and forecasted projects.

  • Assist PM with project related tasks, including supporting customer presentations and meetings, collecting action items and generating minutes from Project Team meetings, and acting as the PM in a limited capacity during the PMs absence.

  • Develop and maintain schedules and material requirements lists, for products, proposal efforts and/or the production process.

  • Provided input to PM/management regarding problems such as scheduling issues, material shortages, design changes, and backlogs.

  • Provide direction and leadership to cross function project teams on behalf of Project Management.

Your Expertise :

  • BS or BA in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related technical field

  • A minimum of four to six years in direct or related experience

  • Understanding of Business principles related to manufacturing and project management, with some amount of experience with Project Scheduling and Budgeting is expected

  • Experience working in a shop environment, i.e. stockroom, expeditor, and capacity planning is highly desirable

  • Working knowledge of cost and revenue budgets, Oracle, Microsoft Project and Excel

  • Experience and demonstrated ability in communication with all levels of Management and external customers

  • Must be a sole US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance
