Environmental Health and Safety Manager
We're looking for a Environmental Healthy and Safety Manager to join our Christchurch Team!
As an Environmental Healthy and Safety Manager, you will prepare quality control programs and manuals for new and existing business. Prepare and monitors safety programs and manuals for new and existing business units. Ensures compliance with OSHA standards and division compliance with the Hazardous Waste Management program. Performs quality performance indicator matrices analysis using ISO-9000 to combine capabilities, improve procedures/processes and enhance quality.

Your Challenge:
The application, maintenance and improvement of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management systems applicable to UK and EU legislative requirements.
Working to achieve active global EHS performance targets and apply continuous improvement targets applicable to the specific business unit.
Working with established monitoring systems, apply effective auditing to establish both leading and lagging KPI’s.
Evaluate legislative requirements and apply suitable and sufficient controls to ensure compliance.
Apply an effective training programme.
Apply an effective health surveillance programme.
What You Bring:
Minimum of 5 years as a qualified safety practitioner, including 3 years within a manufacturing/Engineering environment.
Member of IOSH at certIOSH level as a minimum.
Hold a recognised Environmental training qualification or evidence suitable Environmental training.
