We are looking for a Production Test Engineer to join our Christchurch team!
As our Production Test Engineer, you will be responsible for building new test equipment, assisting in the support of current test equipment, assisting in new product processes and supporting the test software
The successful candidate will need to have experience interfacing Industrial PCs to electronic Test Fixtures and Assemblies and knowledge of Windows NT, 2000, XP Win10, Win 11 operating systems and PC setup

Your Challenge
Build New Test Equipment
Build test equipment to circuit and wiring diagrams
Liaise with Engineers on best practice for construction of test equipment
Assist in the Support of Current Test Equipment
Support Production Test Equipment to maintain operation in UK and Offshore remotely
Maintain production assembly jigs/fixtures
Fault find problems on test equipment rigs, jigs and fixtures
Ensure stock of spares and parts are available
Assist in the delivery of the test equipment maintenance schedule
Assist in the Set up of New Product Processes
Build pre-production models of new products
Assist in the layout and setup of manufacturing areas to defined factory layouts
Be involved in the specification and design of test equipment for new products
Assist in the creation of test software
Develop and test Labview software for testing of rotary and linear sensors
Create modular software
What You Bring
HNC/Degree Engineering discipline plus 3 years experience or 10 years experience with no engineering degree
Computer literate (email, word, excel)
Able to follow wiring diagrams
Electronic Fault Finding and servicing knowledge
Methodical
Conscientious
Accurate
Assembly and soldering skills
Desirable but not essential skills
Software skills including C, C++, Visual basic, Lab Windows, Labview essential
Circuit design and layout experience (Altium)
Experience of interfacing Industrial PCs to electronic Test Fixtures and Assemblies
Knowledge of Windows NT, 2000, XP Win10, Win 11 operating systems and PC setup
